DifGen Pharmaceuticals Relocates Corporate Headquarters From New Jersey to Miramar Park of Commerce

DifGen joins Aveva Drug Delivery Systems, occupying 166,794 SF at the Park

Following its acquisition of Aveva Drug Delivery Systems (Aveva) in 2023, DifGen Pharmaceuticals (DifGen), a leading provider of cost-effective solutions for complex generic medications and supply chain management, has officially relocated its corporate headquarters from Princeton, New Jersey to the Miramar Park of Commerce, located at 3200 Commerce Parkway. This move follows the growth and success of DifGen’s subsidiary, Aveva, which has been a prominent tenant at the Park for over 30 years.

Together, DifGen and Aveva now occupy a combined total of 166,794 sq. ft. across three locations within the Park. Aveva initially occupied 44,000 sq. ft. This strategic move positions DifGen to further expand its operations and continue its leadership in the healthcare sector.

“Aveva’s continued growth within Miramar Park of Commerce has laid a strong foundation for DifGen’s decision to relocate its headquarters here,” said Peter (“PJ”) Apol, Director of Leasing and Marketing for Sunbeam Properties & Development, the developer of the Park. “This relocation highlights the clear advantages of our location and reinforces our role as a key healthcare hub in South Florida and ideal environment for business expansion.”

With the acquisition of Aveva, DifGen has strengthened its capabilities in advanced drug delivery technologies, including transdermal systems and dissolvable films. The combined expertise enables the production of currently 300 million patches expanding to 500 million patches annually over the next year for prescription, over the counter and controlled substances.

Currently, Miramar Park of Commerce, South Florida’s largest locally owned and managed business Park, is home to more than 30 top healthcare companies, creating a healthcare hub that continues to strengthen the regional economy and business environment. In total, healthcare-related tenants account for more than 1.1 million sq. ft. of leased space in the Park.

Apol and Ryan Goggins, Vice President of Sunbeam Properties & Development, represented the Park in the transaction.
